Over the years, we have spearheaded impactful initiatives, demonstrating our commitment to
community development and youth empowerment. Below is a glimpse of our accomplishments:

My Future in My Hands Mentorship Program (2012-2022):

● Equipped grade 8 and grade 12 students with examination strategies and college career
readiness information.
● Set early expectations, leading to increased high school and college attendance.
Feeding Programs during KCPE Examination:

● Supported 5 primary schools, reaching over 1000 students from economically challenged
● Focused on mentorship, encouraging commitment to education and making informed life

Youth-Led Initiatives:

● Student-led peace advocacy through street theatre (2017).

● Covid-19 awareness and relief support (2019-2020).
● Youth-led peace press conference (2022) and International Democracy Day forum

Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Initiative (KCSAP – World Bank funded):

● Trained 25 youth in agribusiness skills.
● Provided $10,000 seed money support for poultry and vegetable farming projects.
● Addressing intertribal violence through economic opportunities and sustainable

Advocacy and Media Reach:

● Produced Tracing Shikomari Primary Roots documentary (2023).
● Coverage on Citizen TV Kenya reaching over 20 million people.
● Ongoing advocacy for education priorities through radio talk shows.

Community Engagement and Support:

● Initiated repairs at Shikomari primary school after documentary screening.
● Donation of 100 sanitary pads to Isongo Secondary School.

● Teachers luncheon to discuss the future of Shikomari and beyond.

Educational Outreach:

● Inspired and uplifted 473 grade 8 students preparing for KCPE exams.
● Provided college and career readiness field trips, mentorship, and sustainable feeding
Radio Talk Shows (Aug-Nov 2023):

● Tandaza FM collaborations on school advocacy, climate change, and International Day of
the Girl Child.
● Shared KCSAP project story and highlighted climate-resilient initiatives.
Youth Sports Day and Anti-Drugs Campaign (Dec 6 th , 2023):

● Engaging 300 youth and 250 community members in sports activities and awareness
