42 Change Makers respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website or take part in our programs, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Messages. When you use our contact, volunteer or join-the-team forms we store your name, email, phone number (if given) and message so we can reply.
• Applications. If you attach a recruitment form or CV, the file is stored in a private folder that only our team can open, and it is emailed to our team.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe we store your name and email to send occasional updates. You can ask to be removed at any time.
• Donations. Gifts are processed by Stripe on its own secure pages. We receive your name, email and gift details to send acknowledgements and keep our records. We never see your full card details.
• Basic server logs. Our host keeps standard logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security.

How we use it

To reply to you, run our programs, process and acknowledge donations, send updates you asked for, and improve our website. We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the site and our work, such as payment processing, email delivery and hosting, and they may not use it for anything else.

Cookies and outside services

We do not use advertising cookies. WordPress sets login cookies only for site administrators. Our fonts load from Google Fonts and our videos from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode), which means your browser contacts their servers. Links to social media and other sites follow those sites’ own policies.

Security

We use encrypted connections and limit access to the people who need it. No online system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe, email info@42changemakers.org.

Children

This website is not intended for children under 13 to submit forms.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
